Built by Old Lyme Colony artist Harry Hoffman and his wife Beatrice Pope, "Chuluota" was constructed between 1908-1910 and designed to replicate an Italian Villa by Boston architects Magee and Rowe. Constructed with local fieldstone and perched atop of Harding Hill and almost entirely surrounded by Old Lyme Preserve land, this iconic property boasts grandeur and privacy.
